The Divine Feminine

"The Divine Feminine" Project is a collection of spiritually inspired art pieces created by Gracie Thomas. The series features various-sized oil paintings that aim to explore the concept of the Divine Feminine Energy. Gracie is  working through and experimenting with several mediums to express the divine feminine in as many forms as it can take. The pieces touch on themes such as spirituality, nature, identity, healing, growth, mental health, the physical female body, and the broader world beyond. Gracie’s goal is to emphasize the female figure as her/their own and not as an equal or less than that of other genders. The artist recognizes as well as there are not just two genders, but that genderism is on a spectrum. Another goal of the series is not only to visually captivate the audience, but also to evoke a feeling within them. The Divine Feminine is an energy that cannot be seen but can be felt, and Gracie hopes to create a safe space where this energy can be expressed freely. Through her artwork, Gracie aims to showcase the beauty and power of this feminine goddess and bring it to the forefront of the conversation.
